Current mood: sick
I'm home sick today waiting for my doctor's appointment and one thing you can tell if I'm truly sick or not is the way that I am up early even when I don't need to be because I can't sleep and I WANT to be at work. Yeah, that's right. I said it. I love my job. Crazy concept these days I must say. However, it is true. I set up an appointment for 9:45 and I must say that if I didn't take the meds last night, I wouldn't have slept at all...thank GOD I had someone to keep me company cuz I would have gone insane. I had my nephew last night so I did wake up a couple of times and go check on him...MAN he's so cute when he sleeps. He's handsome all the time, but that innocent look when he is asleep is priceless and I wouldn't trade this kid for ANYTHING. If I was told that I could be cured of all of my ailments and that I would no longer have pain or suffering I would laugh and refuse in an instant if it meant losing this kid in my life. He is a good part of why I live. He makes my life so much better. The people in my life these days do that for me also, but coming from a child, it is so much different for SURE!
I get to drive my new car around my town today and I will have it all weekend long. Yes, I'm excited. I hope the weather stays warm so I can keep the top down. :)
It's time for one of my nephew's firsts! Yep, tonight he goes to the circus. Without me. This is a personal choice of mine. My sister wouldn't go either if given the choice. I just don't think I will be joining the clowns tonight. EWWwww. No thanks. I got to witness the first rollercoaster with his uncle and I bought him his first ice cream from the ice cream man. There are lots of things I will remember as his firsts but I just can't do the circus thing with the clowns. Can't sleep clowns will eat me. Can't sleep clowns will eat me. I just can't do this one.
EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON...EXCEPT FOR CLOWNS, I MEAN...WHAT THE HELL!?!?!?!
