Baseball is not my sport!

Current mood: talkative

They have postponed my results until Thursday so I cannot tell what is wrong with me or how to fix it until then. Sucky, but that's life I guess. My man keeps telling me that life will do that to you...throw a curve ball when ya least expect it...I tried to explain that I would like life to stop throwing shit at me cuz I'm a volleyball player, not a baseball player, but life tends not to listen. Oh well, guess I'll take it in stride like I have EVERYTHING else I have been given. I'm just tired of metaphoric balls...

My sister and her significant other have decided that they are cat people. My 4 year old nephew disagrees. Yes, he was excited to have a pet cuz well he's never had one but after about 30 minutes of being home with it, he decided to offer for me to take it home cuz it just doesn't like him. This could be because he is not too animal savvy or because the cat just plain hates his hovering, but I assume that ends after a few days...hopefully. Now my sister, always loved my cat. Great demeaner and has dog tendencies. Yes, Ambrosia can fetch, and DOES....very well. Foil. I taught her a few years ago and it seems to be her favorite past time. I wish I enjoyed ANYTHING as much as she enjoys fetching. That would be awesome. This cat LIVES to fetch! Unfortunately, I must say, there will NEVER be another cat like Brosia. So my sister, blindly thinks that this cat could live up to Brosia's personality...I say "Highly Doubtful". Now the question that we come to is....Does she care? The answer is simply put...NO. Why? Because she has claimed many animals through my years to be her own...until they had to be nurtured or fed or cleaned up after. Then...automatically, they became mine. Which I, in turn, accepted gracefully because I AM AN ANIMAL fanatic. Love em. Can't help it...even the saddest, most sorry looking creature, still has feelings and needs and I intend to meet those if possible. I think I may end up with a zoo as a home if I am not careful about picking up needy pets.

So my friends have stopped writing me on here lol. That's okay, I've been dealing with my phone BLOWING UP since I found out about this medical stuff. The most awesome people checking up or in on me making sure I'm okay and wanting to hear results. I love my friends and family...they are so freakin cool. I wish I were cool like them lol. Just kiddin. You know they learned it from me hehe. No, on a serious note, they really have been here for me. You can really tell who your real friends are when a crisis arises and they find out soon enough and care to take the time to check up. Now that's no hit towards the friends that are clueless as to what is taking place in your life, but we also have to remember, that if we lose touch with our close friends, how will they ever know that something bad is happening? In fact, they probably assume that no news is good news...am I right? I try not to be one of those people who think that they are the chosen one to deal out bad news in order to "be there" for the people who may or may not be effected by it. I HATE THAT! If I find out something about someone who is really close to me then I may tell a few people what is happening in my life in reguards to that incident...but if my brother's friend's cousin's best friend's girlfriend is hurt or something aweful happens, I think I'll let them deal with telling everyone what's up. DON'T BECOME THE BEARER of BAD NEWS...then no one wants to kick it cuz guess what...you are just a form of gossip! It can go terribly wrong and you may hurt someone trying to get information out in order to see someone's reaction or to get a rise out of them. Knock it off people.

OOOhhhh DIET cream soda...is absolutely awesome....Diet Crush?...not so much don't do it, you'll regret it. BUT KUDOS to those who are making everything with Splenda these days. I mean, Splenda is SUCH a fantastical find. It tastes great and you can sweeten almost anything with it. Except for bitter, unmanageable people, and you know...really gross stuff that we won't get into. But other than that, WOW splenda rocks my world!

Speaking of SWEETNESS...got to see my lil brother who is not so lil anymore lol. He came to visit and brought friends and we hung out like old times. He will never change in the sense that he is awesome and I love that kid, he loves me like a sister and that is what I will forever be to him. He's amazing and has a HUGE heart that no one can touch. He may not always do the right things but I believe that if he were put in another environment away from "home town" and aquaintances around here, he would flourish in the most awesome ways. He is a victim of his environment here in the Land of "Entrapment" and he is the perfect example of what happens when you get stuck in small town bull-shit. It follows you and you can't evade it until you give up and just let it all go and get OUT. Unfortunately his family remains here and probably will never move, leaving his home "base" tainted and wrong! Plus the family seems used to that behavior leaving his morals to be questioned. DAMNIT! I wish I could shelter him from the storm he is capable of creating, but he's gotta live his own life so for now, unless he reaches out and asks for a hand, I will continue to be here when he needs me, or a place to crash, or a friend/sister...cuz that's all I can do without pushing him over a cliff of bible thumpin rightness. That's the last thing he needs at this point.

Well, I'm off to bed. Take care of yourselves...cuz there's probably someone who cares about you more than they could ever say, so even if they never do...YOU KNOW better. Someone is always looking up to you...and they may be watching at the most inopportune moments...what are YOU gonna do about it? Don't corrupt the moldable minds of our future...lead them into the path that is successful. How do you do that? Be successful yourself. Don't give up or give in to life's fastballs. They may keep coming but everyone gets a hit every now and again...even if we don't play the sport! LOVE YOU ALL!
